    Financial

    The Bank of Canada
    The Bank of Canada site includes a variety of useful features, including information on interest and exchange rates, financial indicators, securities auctions and more. The convenient "Currency Converter" allows you to determine Canadian dollar equivalents for a broad range of foreign currencies.

    Government

    The Canada Revenue Agency
    The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is responsible for the administration of tax laws for the Government of Canada, and for most provinces and territories.

    Finance Canada
    The federal Department of Finance is responsible for the development of federal fiscal policy, including laws affecting federal taxes, financial institutions and markets, and federal-provincial transfer payments.

    Ontario Ministry of Finance
    Responsible for collection of provincial income taxes from corporations, as well as retail sales tax and various other taxes including land transfer, alcohol and tobacco taxes.

     

    Workplace Safety & Insurance Board
    The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) oversees Ontario's workplace safety education and training system, provides disability benefits, monitors the quality of health care, and assists in early and safe return to work.

    Human Resources and Social Development Canada
    Formerly known as HRDC, this agency administers unemployment insurance, seniors state pensions (OAS and CPP), and RESP plans

    Seniors Canada On-line is the Government's response to seniors request for easy electronic access to senior-related services.
